Medicaid Waiver Case Manager (Full-time)
Medicaid Waiver Case Manager (Full-time)
Under direction of the Area Agency on Aging Director, enrolls clients, implements and monitors care plans; maintains accurate and complete record of clients’ case file, case management activities, and service billing for the Home and Community Based Medicaid Waiver. Conducts in-home monthly face-to-face visit with each client. Performs other duties as assigned. Assists with other Aging programs as needed, to include SHIP, ADRC, and Senior Center activities.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in social work preferred or closely related field. Current State of Alabama Case Manager preferred or the ability to earn the State of Alabama Case Manager certification after hire. Willing to submit to preemployment background investigation.

Planning and Economic Development Specialist (Full-time)
As a Planning and Economic Development Specialist, you will provide local governments, non-profits, and other public organizations with urgently needed expertise and assistance. You will be working to help these entities assess their needs and develop projects or programs. You will also help them find, obtain, and administer federal and state grants. You will also assist in the development of regional plans developed by LRCOG.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in planning, urban studies, public admin, economics, business admin, or another related field. You must possess a valid driver’s license and have at least two (2) years of related work experience in urban or regional planning, community development, or economic development. Experience with grant writing and administration is preferred.

Home Delivered Meals Case Manager (Full-time)
Under direction of the Area Agency on Aging Director, the Home Delivered Meals Case Manager is responsible for overseeing the home delivered meals program for LRCOG. The Home Delivered Meals Case Manager screens clients, conducts enrollment activities, provides home visits, and assesses the client’s living situation to ensure there is proper storage for meals and cooking equipment available. Home Delivered Meals Case Manager refers clients to other services that may be needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Must hold bachelor’s degree in social work (preferred) or closely related field. At least one year of work experience in administrative or service positions in aging, healthcare, or family caregiver support preferred.

Aging Programs Support Specialist (Full-time)
The Aging Programs Support Specialist is responsible for supporting various AAA programs by assisting Program Coordinators with tasks required to maintain daily operations, including the Elderly Nutrition Program (ENP), Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP), and other programs as required by AAA Director.
Requirements: High school diploma. Knowledge of community resources in Lee and Russell counties. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Willing to submit to pre-employment background investigation.
